My Life In The Mosh Of Ghosts
Every gig I have ever seen. Forty-odd years of thud, sweat and beers.
Starting in 1977 and currently covering 1984, if you are a fan of Sheffield music from bands like Cabaret Voltaire and The Human League. Or you like Industrial and Post-Punk music in general, there will be something here for you to check out.
I'm Roger Quail, I grew up in Sheffield and played drums with Clock DVA and The Box in this era.
My Life In The Mosh Of Ghosts
My Life In The Mosh Of Ghosts - Gig 48. Bill Nelson, The Limit Club, Sheffield, 28th May 1981.
Season 4 finale.
It's the end of an era, as Roger catches up with his teenage idol Bill Nelson (of Be Bop Deluxe and Red Noise) at The Limit, together with 800 other true Bill-believers, and it all gets a bit Corinthians 13:11.
Simon Elliott-Kemp - intro and outro music.
Rionagh - artwork.

With particular thanks to:
Ultradust - applause.
Rikus 246 - club ambience.
Lincoln Log - Korg drum machine.
Andre Onate - hi-hat.
ERH - e-bow.
Spurious Transients - e-bow.
(Apologies for the surface noise at the beginning of this one!)
Never miss an episode.
